PURPOSE:To join Al parts to each other firmly in the stage of joining the Al to each other at end parts by forming the end part of the high hardness Al alloy into a wedge shape, forcing this into the other Al part and pressurizing and heating these. CONSTITUTION:In joining Al parts 1, 3, a wedge-loke part 2 is formed to the leading end of an Al alloy part 1 of higher hardness, and said part is subjected to a Zn-Ni plating treatment so that the formation of an Al2O3 film on the Al base through contact with air is prevented. Next, this part 2 is forced by pressure into the other Al part 3. At this time, the plating film of the surface is broken to expose the Al base surface of a V shape. These are heated in this stae, then both Al parts at the contact surfaces diffuse to each other and are thorougly bound. At this time, ultrasnoic oscillations are applied to these, whereby the binding of both Al members is accomplished stably. |
