PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording body having uneven patterns of high accuracy efficiently, by performing a step forming the uneven pattern according to information on an insulating substrate after laminating a conductive layer and a dielectric substance film on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:On an insulating substrate 11 made of a thermoplastic resin sheet or the like, a conductor layer 12 is formed with a method such as a nonelectrolytic plating method, and a dielectric substance coating film 13 is coated on the layer 12 with a method of press coating. The laminating body is press- formed and uneven patterns corresponding to information are formed to obtain an objective information recording medium. Thus, in comparison with conventional methods in which a conductive layer and a dielectric substance film are formed after the uneven pattern is formed on the insulating substrate, the uneven patterns of high accuracy having sharp edges can be obtained, and when this information recording body is applied to video discs and the like, the reproduced picture having high quality can be obtained. |
