PURPOSE:To extend cooling and solidifying time, by installing the press-forming apparatus provided with cooling mechanism at the carpet discharging side of a heating oven, reciprocating a lower mold on a rail and stopping it at pressing position, so as one room is shaped by utilizing an oven wall in the beginning time of pressing. CONSTITUTION:The blank web 8 of a carpet is carried into a heating oven being held by a conveying clip belt. The carpet which is attached with fine granules of polyethylene etc. is carried into the oven and heated, then resin is softened or melted. Next, the heated blank web leaves the oven and stops at the predetermined position between a lower mold 4 and an upper mold 3, the upper and lower molds move and press. Thereafter, a blade 31 cuts the carpet. The lower mold is provided with separating plates on the three sides except the oven wall side, and it can reciprocate on a rail and maintain the heating atmosphere by forming a chamber with the separating plates and the oven wall in time of being just under the upper mold. By this, the cooling time of resin on the heated carpet can be extended. |
