PURPOSE:To stack many copying sheets in the 2nd containing part with simple constitution by controlling the stopping of the copying preparation operation of the 2nd side for completing the collection of the copying sheets having been copied on one side into the 2nd containing parts by means of a timer. CONSTITUTION:When the copying sheet 17 of the cassette 16 in the 1st containing part is copied on one side and its trailing end is detected with a photodetector 24, discharge rollers 22 revolve reversely to contain the sheet 17 in the 2nd containing part 671 without discharged. In this way, the sheets are stacked successively therein. These sheets 17 cannot be detected by a photodetector 134 except the 1st sheet, but the stacking of the sheets 17 in the part 671 by the completion of the one side copying of the sheets 17 is detected with the timer which has been preset according to the number of copying sheets. Then, the completion of the preparation for the second side copying is decided and the preparation operation is stopped; at the same time, the starting of delivery rollers 672, the continuation of the forward revolution of the rollers 22 when the element 24 detects the sheets, etc. are controlled with a CPU, whereby both side copying is accomplished. Hence, the stacking of the copying sheets in the 2nd containing part necessary for the both side copying is accomplished surely with simple constitution. |
