PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion and insulation defect after soldering and to improve the solderability, by adding rosin amine hydrohalogenate to rosin or its derivative. CONSTITUTION:A rosin amine hydrohalogenate is added to rosin or its derivative to obtain a flux for soldering. This rosin amine hydrohalogenate is superior in compatibility with the flux base of rosin or the like and has not a hygroscopic property itself and has a high solubility for an organic solvent. Thus, corrosion does not occur after soldering, and insulation defects are suppressed, and the residue of the flux is washed easily, and the solderability is improved. |
