PURPOSE:To make possible the production of a highly reliable unmanned production line to be operated for a long period of time by a method wherein a process for placing flat masks on a mesh belt at a constant pitch is combined with another for feeding them to a leveler process by separating those piled up from each other. CONSTITUTION:A transfer machine equipped with a sucking disk and the like is used to continuously place unprocessed masks in the preset position on a mesh belt 5 moving at a constant speed at a constant pitch P. It is to be desired that the pitch P is shorter than the length 1 of a skirt assembly 1a. An aluminum killed OCA material (AK material) containing, for instance, 0.006% or less by weight of carbon is used for the mask 1, and the masks 1 are so arranged that they are continuously taken out of an annealing furnace 6 and made to pass through a peeler 7 in order to separte the coagulated portions of them. In so doing, it becomes possible to prepare a highly reliable unmanned production line to be operated for a long period of time. |
