PURPOSE:To assuredly form a bubble pattern, by forming a synthetic resin layer containing the second foaming agent having a lower decomposition temperature as a pattern between a transparent or translucent unfoamed synthetic resin layer on the surface and a synthetic resin layer containing the first foaming agent, and then foaming the second foaming agent-contg. synthetic resin layer with heat. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin layer 2 containing the first foaming agent is applied as a patterned layer to the surface of a substrate 1 by a knife coater method or the like. The second synthetic resin layer 3 containing the second foaming agent having a decomposition temperature lower than that of the first foaming agent is further formed as a pattern on the surface of the synthetic resin layer 2. Thereafter, the whole surface is covered with a transparent or translucent unfoamable synthetic resin layer 4, and the layers are subjected to foaming treatment with heat. Consequently, a decorative material provided with a hollow bubble pattern 5, as the traces that the second foaming agent-contg. synthetic resin layer 3 formed as the pattern between the first foaming agent- contg. synthetic resin layer 2 and the unfoamable synthetic resin layer 4 is expanded, is produced. |
