PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the magnetic properties of a magnetic material and at the same time to facilitate the production of a magnetic head, by using a filling resin consisting essentially of liquid unsaturated polyester. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head is formed by adhering the whole of component parts like a core 1, a core holder 2, a coil 3, a shielding case, etc. made of magnetic material by means of a filling resin 5. The resin 5 is composed essentially of unsaturated polyester, e.g., isophthalic acid ester, which contains the 10-100pts.wt. low molecular resin functioning as a low contracting agent, a 10-120pts.wt. inorganic filler, a 2pts.wt. curing catalyst, and a thickener when necessary based on 100pts.wt. unsaturated polyester. The low contracting agent of the low molecular resin uses polystyrene, vinyl acetate, etc. The inorganic filler uses calcium carbonate, molten silica, etc. The curing catalyst uses benzoyl dioxide, and a thickeners uses colloid silica, etc. |
