PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized, easy-to-use electronic switch which has less power loss only by changing connections of one of two lines of a DC power source and a load connected in series, and thus selecting an optional output state. CONSTITUTION:When a detected body 11 is present, the output of a detecting circuit 3 goes up to H and an input 12a to an exclusive OR circuit 12 also goes up to H; when the body 11 is not present, the input 12a goes down to L. Then when the plus side of a DC power source 15 is connected to a connection terminal 17a through a load 14 as shown by the solid lines, an input 12b to the circuit 12 goes up to H. Therefore, an output appearing at an output terminal 12c has the same polarity with the input 12a; when the body 11 is present, a transistor TR50 turns on and when not, it turns off. When the series circuit of the load 14 and power source 15 is connected to a connection terminal 17b as shown by the dotted lines, a diode 21 has the opposite polarity and the input 12b goes down to L, so the signal applied to the input terminal 13a appears at the output terminal 12c while inverted. Therefore, when the body 11 is present, the TR50 turns off and when not, it turns on. |
