PURPOSE:To reduce gear noises and improve the assembling property by fitting a multiple-plate brake and a chain to the cylindrical portion of the bulkhead of a torque converter case jointed with a transmission case. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical portion 123 is formed on a bulkhead 122 made in one body with a torque converter case 121, which is then jointed with a transmission case 130. A multiple-plate brake B3 is coupled with the spline portion 123A of the cylindrical portion 123. A transmission chain 160 for the output gear 4 of the first gear train and the input gear 5 of the second gear train is fitted through gaps 161, 162, 163 penetrating the cylindrical portion 123 and the transmission case 130. |
