PURPOSE:To self-decide propriety of the degree of airtightness based on an objective reference, by a method wherein air bubbles leaking out of an object is led to a clear part of a conduit, and an amount of light transmitting said part is monitored. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 11 is connected to an object 8, and the nozzle 11 and a tube joint 10 are secured to a plate 5 by a linear motor 12. If the object 8 is sunk in liquid through the movement of the plate 5 by a linear motor 7, a funnel-shaped bubble collecting member 21 is moved to a spot positioned above the object 8. Through the working of a pump 22, liquid in a receptacle is sucked to a conduit 17 from the top of the funnel-shaped bubble collecting member 21, and liquid is returned to a receptacle 3 through the end of the conduit connected to an opening formed in a side wall. Air bubbles, leaking out of the object 8 connected to a pressurizing gas source, pass a clear part 18 of the conduit 17 togetherwith liquid. An amount of light reaching a photoelectric converter 20 from a luminous element 19 changes corresponding to the amount of the air bubbles, and the output of the photoelectric converter 20 changes. |
