PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of detection of X-rays without lowering spatial resolution by using an X-ray-electron transducer for transducing X-rays into electrons and emitting the same, and by arranging the transducer in contact with the rear side of a group of electrode plates. CONSTITUTION:Electrode plates 10 and 11 constituting a radioactive-ray detecting cell as inserted into and retained by grooves formed on an insulating material layer on the surface of an X-ray-electron transducer 12 which is constituted by laminating the plates of insulating material and the plates of metal material alternately and by making many holes therein. The X-ray-electron transducer 12 is constituted by laminated plate which is prepared by supperposing alternately several layers of plate-shaped insulating material formed of glass epoxy resin or the like, and of metal material formed of high-density metal such as lead and having the same shape with that of the insulating material. |
