PURPOSE:To set initially the duration of a kick pulse for track jumping at a prescribed reference level, by selecting successively plural memories which store each output mode and the duration of the jump pulse of a stylus through a control signal producing circuit and in a period during which a discriminating means is detecting a guide groove part. CONSTITUTION:The track number recorded on a recording disk is detected by a detecting circuit 2, and a program region and a preprogram region are discriminated from each other by a region discriminating circuit 6 connected to the circuit 2. while the circuit 6 is discriminating a preprogram region, a control signal producing circuit 9 switches successively the 1st, 2nd, 3rd memories 10, 11, 12- which store each output mode and the duration of the kick pulse. Then the durations of the kick pulses stored in the above-mentioned memories are decided by the output of a comparator 5 which compares the present track number detected by the circuit 2 with the preceding track number. |
