PURPOSE:To prevent gas leakage of refrigerant by providing circular grooves forming tongue pieces on high-pressure gas and low-pressure gas receiving surfaces of a spool valve for switching a refrigerant flow path so as to press the tongue pieces to the inner wall of a valve body. CONSTITUTION:A spool valve 11 includes three pressure receiving portions 12A- 12C provided with three circular sheet valves 12a-12c brought into slidable contact with inner walls 1a, 1b of large and small cylinders of a four-way reversing valve body 1. Each sheet valve 12a. is, for example, as seen at the sheet valve 12b, provided with a notch groove 14 on the high-pressure gas receiving surface thereof, so that a tongue piece 13 is pressed on the inner wall of the valve body 1 to prevent gas leakage of a refrigerant. On the other hand, the low-pressure gas receiving surface thereof is provided with a notch groove 19, so that high- pressure refrigerants are prevented from mutual short-circuit by a tongue piece 13' while the spool valve 11 is in the middle of switching. |
