PURPOSE:To provide corrosion resistance to the exposed parts produced right after cutting by melt-spraying Zn, Al or their mixture to said parts thereby forming a melt sprayed film of specific thickness. CONSTITUTION:When a Zn-plated steel plate 1 is cut, the steel plate of the base material exposes because the cut surface has no plating layers. Rust is formed from such exposed surface. To prevent the rust formation, Zn, Al or their mixture is melt sprayed on the cut surface right after cutting and before the exposed parts are contaminated with oil, etc., whereby a melt-sprayed film of about 5-100mu is formed thereon. |
