PURPOSE:To inform a proper time of conversion of an element and to improve the reliability of a semiconductor breaker, by monitoring the leakage current of each element provided at each desired part. CONSTITUTION:In case a main circuit 2 of a semiconductor breaker is produced, the state of deterioration is known for main and auxiliary semiconductor controlling and rectifying elements and a capacitor which are component elements of the desired part by the fault detection output of a current deciding circuit 5 and from the level of the leakage current of each element which is obtained via the shunts 2-6, 10 and 11-1 connected to each element, respectively. Then a controlling circuit 6 is actuated when the degree of deterioration is large. Thus the circuit 2 is broken. At the same time, the degree of deterioration oe each element is known by a monitor device 12 and displayed at display device 12-5. In such way, the proper maintenance is possible for the replacement of elements, etc. |
