PURPOSE:To smoothly operate a conveyer without causing the wear in a sloped surface, by holding a pusher dog in a prescribed attitude and turning the pusher dog around a sprocket further seating a surface of the pusher dog to the sloped surface. CONSTITUTION:As a sprocket 6 is rotated and driven in the direction of an arrow head B, a pusher dog 1 comes in from the direction of an arrow head C, and the point end of teeth 6b in the sprocket 6 is contacted to a bottom surface 1d, that is, the lower peripheral wall of both side plates 11 of the pusher dog 1, then its bottom surface 1d is gradually lifted and tilted toward the front. Then a back surface 1a of the pusher dog is placed almost parallelly to a center link 21, to which the pusher dog is mounted, here its attitude can be held. The pusher dog 1 is turned around the sprocket 5 while being held in the forward tilting attitude, and the center of a turning axis 13 of the pusher dog draws the locus of a straight line, L, then the pusher dog is tractively moved to the direction of an arrow head D, thus separated from the sprocket 6. |
