<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a display device by providing a display means which performs display in different colors during sound recording and other operations at the opposite position to the remaining amount display window of a tape cassette loaded in a cassette storage part. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 12a is formed in the center of a decorative panel 12 constituting the bottom surface of a cassette storage part. A transparent light guide plate 13 made of resin is arranged behind the decorative panel 12 in such a way that the lower end part 13a opposes to the remaining amount display window 4a and through hole 12a of a tape cassette 4. Display elements 14 and 15, such as lamps, inserted into through holes 13b and 13c at the upper part of the light guide plate 13 emits light in red and blue respectively. When switching to a sound recording state is done by being associated with an operation button, the display element 14 for red turns on and in other operation states, the display element 15 for green turns on. When the device is stopped, the display elements 14 and 15 are powered down, so neither of the display elements 14 and 15 turns on. Thus, the small-sized display device is constituted.</p> |
