PURPOSE:To realize high stability of the temperature characteristics of a ceramic resonator, by giving a larger thickness to an electrode supporting pressure auxiliary material which presses an electrode terminal plate to a ceramic piezoelectric element than the depth of the hollow of the inner side of a case which stores said auxiliary material. CONSTITUTION:The side face of a plate type ceramic piezoelectric element 5 having electrodes on both main surfaces is supported by a synthetic resin supporter 4. The centers of both surfaces of the element 5 have a contact with each other by projections 3b and 3b' provided to tongue pieces of a pair of electrode terminal plates 3 and 3'. The electrode supporting pressure auxiliary matters 2/2' and 2a/2a' made of an elastic material are set at both sides of the plates 3 and 3' and then put into the hollows of 2-split inner cases 1 and 1' made of synthetic resin having larger coefficient than said auxiliary materials. Thus these auxiliary materials are assembled in a body and then put into a metallic outer case 6 to be sealed up by resin. In such way, a ceramic resonator is obtained. In this case, the thickness of the auxiliary material is set larger than the depth of the hollows of the cases 1 and 1'. As a result, the change of the supporting force is reduced for the element 5 to the temperature change. This can stabilize the temperature characteristics for the resonance resistance of the element 5. |
