<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the feeding volume of air or oxygen by providing an air diffusing part over the entire part in the bottom of an aerating tank, charging solid particles beforehand on the air diffusing part, and forming fluidized beds of solid particles on the air diffusing part. CONSTITUTION:While water W to be treated is introduced through an introducing part 4 into an aerating tank 1, air or oxygen is fed into an air diffusing part 2, and foam is diffused through the part 2 into the water W; thereafter the aerated water to be treated is discharged through a discharge port 5. When foam is diffused from the part 2 as mentioned above, solid particles 3 are fluidized by the ascending force of the foam, by which fluidized bed 3' of the solid particles are formed. Since the foam diffused from the part 2 repeats collision against the solid particles during ascending, part or the whole of the foam breaks and as a result the oxygen in the foam is generated when the foam breaks and is dissolved in the water to be treated with annihilation on the water surface.</p> |
