<p>PURPOSE:To reduce desulfurization cost and to maintain desulfurization rate high for a long time using a regenerated adsorbent, by adding coke to the adsorbent after desulfurization, heating them, drying Na2S produced, and simultaneously reacting it with CO2 to regenerate the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:A powdery adsorbent consisting of soda ash is added to a combustion waste gas to react them in a desulfurizer 3, after the desulfurization reaction, the adsorbent (Na2SO4) is collected with a multicyclone 4, and the desulfurized waste gas is sent to a denitrator 5. The collected adsorbent is mixed with powdery coke in a fluidized bed type decomposer 9, and heated with a high-temp. inert gas sent from a combustion furnace 10 and a decomposition gas generator 11 to decompose Na2SO4 into Na2S. The produced liquid Na2S is sprayed in a regenerator 12, CO2 and water branched from the generator 11 is introduced into the regenerator 12 to react Na2S with CO2 and to solidify by drying. The adsorbent consisting of soda ash is regenerated, collected with a dust collector 13, and sent to the desulfurizer 3. H2S produced from the regenerator 12 is sent to a sulfur recovery device 14 to recover elementary sulfur.</p> |
