PURPOSE:To allow one changeover switch to switch double broadcast mode and also to perform switching between a stereophonic and monaural modes, by providing a changeover switch which outputs a switching signal on every switch operation and a shift register which switches reception modes successively. CONSTITUTION:A changeover switch S1 which outputs a switching signal A by every on operation is connected to a switching circuit 15 to apply a signal A to an FF 16 and a shift register 17. Output terminals H, I, and J of respective stages of this register 17 correspond to input terminals D, E, and F of a matrix circuit 10 connected to a main sound filter part 5 and a sub sound detection part 6. To the circuit 15, a control signal detection part 7 which detects a stereophonic or double broadcast is connected. Then, the register 17 switches reception mode, i.e. main channel, subchannel and both-channel reception modes successively every time the signal A is received. Further, every time the signal A is inputted to the FF 16, a stereophonic and a forcible monaural reception mode are switched and thus only one changeover switch is used to simplify the constitution of the receiver. |
