PURPOSE:To reduce bending moment by providing a piston rod with a receiving plate, providing a tone arm with an auxiliary arm having a contacting part for contacting the receiving plate, and putting the point where the load of the tone arm is applied closer to the piston rod. CONSTITUTION:An arc-shaped receiving plate 10 is fitted to a piston rod 3 in a T shape, and a tone arm T is provided with an auxiliary arm 12 which has a pin 11 for contacting the receiving plate 10. When the arm T moves from a disuse position until it is at an angle a half as great as a movement angle beta on a record disk, the pin 11 comes onto the piston rod 3 by specifying the projection length of the receiving plate 10 and the fitting position of an automatic lowering device A. Consequently, bending moment operating on a piston which is not shown in figure is reduced to eliminate an unreasonable lowering speed. |
