PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a node an IP address of which is erroneously set from a node in a sub-network.SOLUTION: A control device comprises: a communication unit (140) for transmitting and receiving packets on a sub-network; a search unit (170) for searching for a target node by transmitting a search request packet via the communication unit and receiving a search response packet; and a node information management unit (150) for passively detecting the presence of a start-up node on the sub-network every time a packet is received to manage the start-up node as node information. When transmitting the search request packet, the search unit transmits it to an IP address in the node information held by the node information management unit as a destination by unicast. At that time, for a node of which an IP address is erroneously set, the search unit transmits the search request packet having a MAC address in the corresponding node information as a destination MAC, and a dummy address close to the IP address set erroneously as a transmission source IP address.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
