PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of operation by a structure wherein a drain tank is downwardly pivotally supported about one end of its upper part and held at its lower part by elastically coupling members, the engagement of which is broken under the condition that the drain tank is full of water, and a switch to stop the dehumidifier is rendered to be turned off by the tilt of the drain tank due to the water filled to the brim of the drain tank. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of the drain tank 19 is supported by the engagement of a fulcrum 23 and a fulcrum support 29 and its lower part is supported by the elastic coupling member consisting of a fitting projection 27 and an elastic pincher 28. Under the condition just mentioned above, the actuator 25 of microswitch 24 is depressed by the tank 19 so as to turn ON a driving circuit of the dehumidifier to operate. When the tank 19 becomes full of water and the gravity applied to the tank 19 overcomes the elastic pinching force of the pincher 29 pinching the fitting projection 27, the female- male engagement is broken, resulting in tilting the tank 19 downward about the fulcrum 23. The tilting movement of the tank 19 causes the actuator 25 of the micro switch 24 to push out, resulting in turning OFF the driving circuit of the dehumidifier to stop. In such a manner as mentioned above, the state that the drain tank 19 is full of water as a result of dehumidification can be surely detected and consequently the overflowing of water from the tank can be prevented. |
