<p>PURPOSE:To make an operator perform input operation simply without errors by providing a dialogical figure input device with a function to sequentially discriminate and display segments drawn on an input device as straight lines. CONSTITUTION:When the end point position information of straight lines and broken lines is inputted with a tablet pen of a dialogical input device 4, the information is inputted to a sequential straight line discriminating device 6 through an input information preprocessor 5. When a segment having a fixed length is drawn from the point position series of segments drawn with a pen or the like, the device 6 detects and discriminates a straight line, determines the position and direction of the straight line and inputs the determined result to a broken line shaping processor 7 and a straight line generation controlling device 8. The device 7 shapes and deforms a broken line consisting of short straight lines to a broken line consisting of long straight lines on the basis of the broken line end point information from the device 4 and the information from the device 6, and inputs the shaped information to the device 8. The device 8 transfers information related to the detected and discriminated straight lines and the shaped and deformed broken lines to a pattern display device 9 to make the device 9 display these straight lines and broken lines based upon the input information.</p> |
