<p>PURPOSE:To easily and surely sort a sheet through a device which distributively stores the successively conveyed sheet to plural tray members, by turnably controlling a supporting member of the tray members in such a manner that each tray member is succesively placed selectively at a face-to-face position to a sheet carry out part. CONSTITUTION:A sheet P discharged by discharge rollers 2 from a copying machine main unit 1 is conveyed along a guide plate 3 and stored to one of the trays 5 supported to a supporting member 10 of a sheet sorter 4. Here successively to the above operation, a suitable control means is used, for instance, such that arrival of the second sheet P at a paper discharge part of the unit 1 is detected by a switch of various kinds to feed an electric signal and rotate the tray 5 90 deg. by a stepping motor 6 and then stop said motor 6. Thereafter, the second sheet P is discharged from the roller 2 and stored to the second tray 5. Then the above process is successively repeated to store the sheet P one by one to each tray 5.</p> |
