<p>PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively recover noble metal, by filtering a noble metal-contg. liquid with a cylindrical filter having a wall surface to which a filter medium is applied, stripping off the filter medium and then extracting the adhered noble metal. CONSTITUTION:A filter medium such as paper or fiber materials is mixed in water inside a filtering cell 20, and then the water is let flow through a cylindrical filter 6 from the lower chamber 4 of the filtering cell 1 and circulated through an upper chamber 3 into the cell 20 by pump 15. During this circulation, the filter medium is uniformly stuck to the wall surface of the filter 6. In succession, a noble metal-contg. liquid 17 is circulated between the cell 1 and a liquid tank 16 by the same pump 15, to adhere the noble metal to the filter medium. Thereafter, a cover 29 is opened, the filter 6 is taken out by holding a handle 32, and the filter medium is stripped off and removed therefrom. The nobel metal and ash are then obtained by burning the filter medium, for instance, and the noble metal only is separated and extracted by a method utilizing mechanical operation or the difference of specific gravity.</p> |
