PURPOSE:To enable to favorably transfer a recording paper from a recording part to a cutting part, by a method wherein a feeding passage for a recording paper is constituted of a guiding means provided with a fixed guide and a movable guide which are overlapped on each other so as to constantly maintain the passage in a continuous condition. CONSTITUTION:A rolled form recording paper 7 inserted in the direction of an arrow is fed by clamping it between a thermal head 8 and a platen roller 9 which are provided at the recording part 10, and after reception and printing, the paper 7 is cut to a predetermined length by a fixed cutter blade 14 and a rotary cutter blade 15 which are provided at the cutting part 16, and the paper thus cut is discharged by a pair of discharging rollers 17. The guiding means 19 is provided which connects the recording part 10 and the cutting part 16 to each other, thereby forming the feeding passage 18 for transferring the recording paper. The guiding means 19 is constituted of the fixed guide 20 placed at an inlet to the cutting part 16, the movable guide 21 which can be moved by being energized to the side of the recording part 10 while being overlapped on the guide 20, and an upper fixed guide 22 placed oppositely to the guide 20. |
