PURPOSE:To suppress deviation in position and to eliminate recording and reproducing errors, by bringing into contact one piece or plural pieces of elastic bodies with the rear face of a gimbal spring provided to a fixed base or a movable base in such a way that the elastic bodies is brought into contact with at least the central part of the rear face under a weak pressure. CONSTITUTION:By installing annular rubber elastic bodies 17 and 17 or 18 and 18 between gimbal springs 8 and 9 and shield covers 12 and 13 at both sides of each of supporting pins 10 and 11 and allowing to contact each contact surface of the elastic bodies 17 and 17 or 18 and 18 with the square part and inside and outside angular frames of the gimbal springs, the relative positional deviation of magnetic heads 6 and 7 is prevented and recording and reproducing errors are eliminated. While the annular elastic body is used in this case, block- shaped ones can be used and, moreover, a spongy material can also be used for making the elastic body. |
