PURPOSE:To measure the heavy load highly accurately, by supporting a material to be measured by a protruded sheet through a short cylinder shaped protruded ring and a pushing plate both having specified configurations, which are provided on one end surface of a cyrindrical load transducer, to the surface of which strain gages are attached. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical load transducer 20 having an internal space 21 is arranged in the vertical direction. A plurality of the strain gages, which transduce the load to electrical quantities, are attached to the surface of the inside and the outside of the cylinder. The short cylinder shaped protruded ring 24 is contacted with an upper end surface 23 of the load transducer 20. The outer diameter of said ring 24 is smaller than the outer diameter of the load transducer 20. The inner diameter of the ring 24 is larger than that of the transducer 20. The cylinder shaped protruded sheet 26 is provided on the upper surface side of the protruded ring 24 through the disk shaped upper pushing plate 25. They are all provided in a concentric configuration. It is recommended that the diameter (d) of the protruded sheet 26 is as small as possible within the range of allowable strength of the material. |
