PURPOSE:To contrive restraint of the tar build-up, preventing deterioration of the burning property, and utilizing of the titled wick over long period under safety and comfortable condition by a method wherein a vaporizing part is formed by a ceramic fiber plate having the sufficient thickness capable of sucking up the fuel exceeding required sucking up capability. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical sucking up part 1 is composed of braiding fabric such as cotton, staple fiber or polypropylene and the like. A cylindrical vaporizing part 2 connected to the upper part of said sucking up part 1 is formed by binding with ceramic fibers of silica-alumina family with bonding material. The thickness A of said vaporizing part 2 is required to be provided the sucking up capability at least exceeding the fuel sucking up capability for the rating burning amount. Thereby, the build-up of tar-like material can be restrained, and even when said build-up of tar-like material occures, deterioration of burning characteristic can be prevented, further, producing of odor, soot and carbon monoxide can be restrained. |
