PURPOSE:To facilitate attaching and detaching a balancer case by detachably mounting the balancer case on the lower end of a crank case with a plurality of fitting bolts, and forming bolt pull-out holes on an oil pan. CONSTITUTION:A balancer case 10 is fastened at the end portion on the fly wheel side on a crank case 2 with two main fitting bolts 16. The peripheral edge of the other portion is fastened on the crank case 2 with a lot of fitting bolts 17. Bolt pull-out holes 18 are formed on the end wall portions 1a corresponding to two main fitting bolts 16. Thus, in case of detaching a balancer device, after a bottom cover 4 and a plug 20 are detached, the fitting bolts 17 are pulled out and the main fitting bolts 16 are pulled out from the bolt pull-out holes 18 by a box wrench. After that, the balancer case 10 is set in a position indicated by a virtual line to be taken out through an opening 3. |
