PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement the control for raising a field current with high response, by increasing the d-axis current in the negative direction, in a controller of a dynamo-electric machine implementing rectangular wave driving.SOLUTION: In a controller 40 implementing rectangular wave driving for turning the switches SUp1-SWn2 of inverters INV1, INV2 supplying power to a motor 10, respectively on over a predetermined energization period in the rotational period of the electrical angle of the motor 10, the motor 10 includes a rotor 12 having a field winding 11, a stator 13 having armature windings 10a, 10b of three-phase or more. After starting to increase the field current flowing to the field winding 11 due to increase in the torque command value for the motor 10, control for leading the energization period of the switches SUp1-SWn2, respectively, in the direction of angle of lead is implemented so as to increase the d-axis current flowing to the armature windings 10a, 10b, in the direction of generating magnetic flux in the opposite direction to the field magnetic flux generated by the field current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
