PURPOSE:To improve the safety of a car body by allowing an axle to rock when the axle is inclined with respect to a frame and by locking the frame and the axle to each other when they are parallel and a loaded fork, is lifted to a high position. CONSTITUTION:A locking cylinder 36 is disposed between a frame 1 and a rear axle 3 via a lock lever 41 and both chambers 43 and 44 of the cylinder 36 are connected to each other through pipe 45 which has a solenoid valve 46. The valve 46 is controlled by a discrimination circuit 20. The circuit 20 receives a signal of a heavy load on a fork from a pressure sensitive conductor rubber 25, a detection signal of a high lift position of the fork from a liquid level sensor 23 in a tank 12 of a cylinder 7 and another detection signal of inclination of the axle 3 with respect to the frame from a potentiometer 31. The discrimination circuit 16 allows the axle 3, if inclined, to rock and makes both the frame 1 and the axle 3 locked to each other when they are parallel and the loaded fork is lifted to a high position. |
