PURPOSE:To enable the automatic correction of tracking by providing an auxiliary storage device in combination with a computer for control separately therefrom, and estimating the tracking condition for casting after resetting from the information of the auxiliary storage device during the stoppage of the computer and the tracking information for casting prior to the stoppage. CONSTITUTION:In a continuous casting device having a computer 100 for control, an entirely independent auxiliary storage device 101 is connected to the computer 100. The device 101 is so constituted that the operation information of a cutter 16 which cuts an ingot 4 is inputted and the weighing value of a ladle weight meter 10 is inputted thereto. When the computer 100 is reset from the temporary stoppage, the cutting times of the ingot, the exchange times of ladles and the molten steel weight in the ladles during the stoppage period are inputted from the device 101 to the computer 100, and the tracking for casting is corrected automatically from said information and the information for tracking the casting process just prior to the stoppage. |
