<p>PURPOSE:To attain stable detection and to improve the reliability, by setting stepwise a resistance of a pull-up resistor connected to a detection circuit via a detection wire basing on the relation between the resistance value of the detection wire and the detected position. CONSTITUTION:In pressing a soft upper member 1 with a finger 9 and a pen, the detection wire 2 formed on said upper member 1 contacts the detection wire 4 formed on a lower member 3, the detection wire 2 is driven with a drive section 5, and a potential change obtained from the relation between the resistance value and the detecting position of the pull-up resistor 8, and the detection wires 2, 4 is produced on an input wire of a detection circuit 6 corresponding to input positions (j, i). The detection circuit 6 can detect the input positions (j, i) from the position of drive element of the drive section 5 and the input wire of the circuit 6. Stable detection over the entire detecting position is done by setting stepwise the resistance value Rj of the pull-up resistor 8 corresponding to the circuit 6 from the relation of the resistance value and the detection position between the detection wires 2, 4.</p> |
