PURPOSE:To arrange a motor part generating large calorific value on the outside of a DE, by providing a damper in a magnetic head access mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In respect to a disc 1, a magnetic film is formed on an aluminium substrate by application or a film forming technique. A magnetic head for recording information is arranged oppositely to this disc 1. This magnetic head is mounted on a head arm 2 and is moved and positioned to a prescribed track of the disc 1 by the head access mechanism. Plural discs 1 are set on a disc rotating shaft through spacing rings 6 and are rotated constantly in a prescribed rotation speed by a rotating motor 4. The rings 6 are provided with air blow-off holes, and air is circulated from these holes by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of discs 1. |
