PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of an unnecessary image owing to a change in the set number of sheets by the incorrect operation of a ten-key by inhibiting the clearing of a memory which stores the set number of sheets when the image formation by sequence control is stopped on the way. CONSTITUTION:The images corresponding to the set number of sheets are formed by the sequence control corresponding to the number of sheets set in a memory 202 and a memory 203 in a key 217 for setting the number of sheets of a ten-key. When the stop key in a key group 219 is operated during the sequence control, the FF 210 of an inhibition circuit 216 is set and the gate of a key group 218 is closed by the Q' output of a low level of the FF 210, then a gate 229 is closed with the corresponding FF 205, etc., and the output of a clear key 221 is interrupted, so that the clearing of the memory 202 is inhibited. The memory 203 is controlled similarly, whereby the change in the contents of the memory 202, 203 owing to the incorrect operation of the ten- key is obviated. The formation of an unnecessary image owing to a change in the set number of sheets by the incorrect operation of the ten-key is thus prevented. |
