The invention relates to a device for viewing film images of an X-rayed incisor that are obtained by photofluorography. Since film images from X-ray equipment conventional in dental practices have relatively small dimensions, an enlarging device has been produced in accordance with the invention which is characterised in that a housing, a light source, a condenser system, a lens and a film stage arranged between the condenser system and lens, in that a wall region of the housing is constructed as an imaging ground glass screen, and in that at least one deflecting mirror is arranged in the beam path between the lens and ground glass screen.
