The invention relates to a ski boot with a boot bottom which has a rigid outsole and a heel part. Arranged removably between outsole and heel part on the boot bottom is a support body which projects beyond the latter. The arrangement of a support body on such, essentially rigidly designed ski boots makes it possible to cover relatively great distances on foot without difficulties, as the boot bottom can tilt during walking, as a result of which the heel part is raised from the walking surface and thus the heel of the foot, in a similar manner to its anatomical movements during walking, is raised. Tendons, ligaments and the leg muscles are consequently no more stressed than during walking with conventional footwear. The support body can, if no longer required for walking, be positioned detachably on the upper side of the ski in order to prevent crossing of the skis.
