PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative board having three-dimensional feeling and decorative effect near to a real product, by a method wherein a specific transfer picture pattern layer is transferred to the under coating layer of the base material used in the decorative board and transparent resin is further applied to the transferred layer to form a recessed part by repelling said transparent resin at the liquid repelling agent contained part in a picture pattern. CONSTITUTION:For example, an under coating surface 5 is applied to the surface of a base material (pref., a metal plate) 4 for a decorative board and, after (semi)drying, the transfer picture pattern layer 3 of transfer paper obtained by forming the part or all of the transfer picture pattern layer 3 to a transfer paper base formed by applying a release layer 2 on the upper surface of a transfer paper substrate (e.g., paper or a polyester substrate) 1 with an ink containing a matte agent (e.g., a silica powder or a calcium carbonate powder) and a liquid repelling agent (pref., silicon oil, silicon resin) by printing, pref., gravure printing is transferred to the above mentioned under coating surface 5 while a top coat layer 6 comprising (semi)transparent resin is further applied onto the transfer picture pattern layer 3 of the base material 4 for the decorative board and a recessed part is formed by repelling the (semi)transparent resin at the liquid repelling agent contained part in a picture pattern to obtain the objective decorative board. |
