<p>PURPOSE:To narrow rotating angles of a link member and an arm member, by setting the distance from the center of an axle for interconnecting a link member to an arm member to that of an axle for interconnecting the link member to a car body so that it is longer than the distance between axes of a shaft member and a crank pin. CONSTITUTION:A joint member 20 whereto a tie rod 23 is linked is loosely engaged with a pin 14 of a crank part 13 formed on a shaft member 12 of a rear wheel steering mechanism. Meanwhile, a link member 26 is pivotally secured to a bracket 25 secured to a floor panel of a vehicle through the medium of a rubber bush, and an arm member 27 is pivotally secured to the link member 26 through the medium of a rubber bush. The arm member 27 is fastened to said joint member 20. A distance l between the centers of axles 37 and 34 for interconnecting the link member 26 to the arm member and for interconnecting the link member to a car body, respectively, is set so as to be longer than a distance epsilon between the axes of the shaft member 12 and the pin 14. This reduces rotating angles of the link member 26 and the arm member 27, resulting in lengthening the life of the rubber bush.</p> |
