PURPOSE:To improve the durability, running property, and weatherability by installing a lubrication layer on a coating layer of inorganic particles and binder formed on one surface of non-magnetic base body, and a magnetic metallic film having a film of metallic oxide to the other surface of the non-magnetic base body. CONSTITUTION:A non-magnetic base body J coated with a coating layer S on one surface is put into a treatment chamber with glow discharger 3 and the surface of the base body J for vapor deposition is cleaned. Then, the base body J is brought into a magnetic metallic film vapor deposition chamber 4 and a magnetic metallic film A is formed on the base body j, by heating and evaporating a magnetic substance evaporating source 18 by means of electron beam type heating means 16 composed of an electron gun and power source. Thereafter, the base body J is exposed to a plasmatic atmosphere in an oxidizing treatment chamber 5 and the surfac of the magnetic metallic film A is oxidized and a metallic oxide layer B is formed. Finally, the base body J is put into a lubrication layer vapor deposition chamber 6 and a lubrication layer C of a desired thickness is formed on the opposite side of surface of the base body J, coated by said magnetic metallic film is not formed in a lubrication layer vapor deposition chamber 6. |
