PURPOSE:To obtain a high output with efficient combustion and reduce harmful gas, by inserting a part protruded partially on an upper face of a piston into a cylinder head combustion chamber and jetting gas in a cylinder into said combustion chamber from a piston insertion narrow part of the combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:If a piston 6 rises at its movement toward the top dead center by its vertical movement to a base part 14 of a combustion chamber 16, a protrusion 8 provided to an upper face 7 of the piston 6 is inserted into the chamber 16. Gas in a cylinder 5 is jetted into the combustion chamber 16 from an insertion narrow part 18. This jetting action causes a turbulent flow in compressed gas or partly in gas starting combustion, and combustion of supplied fuel is promoted efficiently in the range of all revolution of an engine to both obtain its high output and reduce a harmful component in exhaust gas. |
