PURPOSE:To prevent a brush from wearing or breaking by a lock member by forming a structure that the lock member is not engaged directly with, or isolated from the brush to enable to hold or release the brush. CONSTITUTION:A lock plate 26 is slid in a direction of an arrow X in the state that a brush 6 is mounted on a brush holder 4 together with a brush attaching/detaching unit 5 to release the lock plate 26 from a lock ball 25, thereby enabling to press and contact the brush 6 toward a slip ring 2 via a spring 17. When the brush 6 is removed together with the unit 5 from the holder 4, the lock plate 26 is slid in a direction Y to engage the plate 26 with the ball 25, thereby preferably holding the brush 6 at the unit 5 against the pressing force of the spring 27. |
