The casting mould includes parts which can be dismantled, including a baseplate (1), mould halves (2) and jaws (3). One of the mould halves (2) is movably arranged on the baseplate (1) to bring the mould halves together and apart for the formation of a mould. The walls (8,9 and 10) of the baseplate (1) facing the interior of the mould, the mould halves (2) and the jaws (3) form a cavity. One of the mould halves (2) has projections (12) which divide the said cavity into three chambers, one being a metal receiving chamber (13), the second being a lateral inlet chamber (14), and the third being a central moulding chamber (15). According to the invention, the metal receiving chamber (13) is connected to a cavity (16) of variable volume, for example formed as a recess produced in the wall (9), a displaceable piston (18) being fitted in this recess. <IMAGE>
