PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for compressing the lists of information items, which realizes a similar reduction in size while substantially reducing memory costs and processing costs.SOLUTION: An encoding method comprises: a step of determining a first list of an index associated with an information item of an initial list that has been indexed in a local index table, and a second list of a literal value of other information item of the initial list that has not yet been indexed in the local index table; a step of encoding an index for the first list; a step of binary-compressing at least the serial binary expression of the literal value of the second list; and a step of obtaining an encoded bit stream of the information item by connecting the first and second lists together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
