PURPOSE:To obtain the reliable and flexible solar battery at low cost by a method wherein an amorphous silicon solar battery is formed on a conductive and flexible film substrate. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous silicon layer 2 is formed on the side of a conductive and flexible film substrate 1 in the order of conductive types P, I and N, and a light-transmitting conductive film 3 and metallic collecting electrodes 4 and 5 formed in grid form are provided. A graphite conductive film is used as the conductive film substrate 1, indium oxide wherein tin oxide is added is used as the light-transmitting conductive film 3, and an Ag-Ti alloy is used as the collecting electrodes 4 and 5. According to this constitution, no exfoliation phenomenon, which is seen in the solar battery formed on an insulating high molecule film substrate, is observed at all. |
