PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device that enables reduction of cost required for establishing a system by simplifying the system and reduction of pressure loss caused by the exhaust emission control device while improving flexibility of installation layout.SOLUTION: In an exhaust emission control device 100 for collecting and removing soot 105 included in exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine 101 through an exhaust pipe 102 into the atmosphere by using a catalyzed soot collection filter 103, an exhaust upstream side of the catalyzed soot collection filter 103 is covered with an oxidation catalyst layer 104. The catalyzed soot collection filter of the exhaust emission control device 100 has an oxidation catalyst function for oxidizing nitrogen monoxide included in the exhaust gas by using the oxidation catalyst layer 104 to generate nitrogen dioxide and burning the soot 105 collected by the catalyzed soot collection filter 103 by using the nitrogen dioxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
